DESCRIPTION:All HTCIA Members welcomed.\n\nIntroduction to Mobile Application Testing by TrustedSec\nPresenters: Whitney Phillips (Senior Security Consultant) and Kelsey Segrue (Senior Security Consultant) both from TrustedSec\n\nAs consumers become more dependent on mobile devices\, the need for application security has become more of a priority. In this talk\, we will go through testing methodology for mobile application assessments and some of the tools used. Additionally\, we will also discuss jail breaking software for both Android and iOS\, methods used to obtain both Android APKs and iOS IPAs and finish with the other tools used to perform testing.\n\nWhitney has 15 years of experience ranging from support tech\, Blue and Purple team to\, most recently\, Red team with a primary focus in Mobile Application Penetration testing.\n\nKelsey is an application security specialist focused on web and mobile application penetration testing. Kelsey spends her time identifying vulnerabilities from an attacker’s perspective while striving to make application security approachable.
