Presenter Bio:
Dr. Cassie B. Barlow is the President of the Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education and is focused on collaboration among SOCHE’s 33 College and University members as well as professional development of faculty and staff and workforce needs of students.  Dr. Barlow served for 26 years in the US Air Force and completed her career as the 88th Air Base Wing Commander, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH where she commanded one of the largest wings in the Air Force.

Presentation Description:
SOCHE is a non-profit organization that is 59 years old. For many years SOCHE has worked with employers across Ohio to find the interns they need to accomplish their work.  Approximately 70% of these students are receiving job offers at the end of their internship and 95% of those eligible are converting directly to fulltime jobs.
